When enabled, Recovery automatically removes the oldest restore points after a successful backup to stay within the storage limit. Pre-restore safety points and the backup just created are protected.
Import Protection
No account identity status loaded.
Restore point import is checked against the current account fingerprint. Signed backups require the same EAS_RECOVERY_BACKUP_SIGNING_KEY on source and target.
External Storage

Google Drive setup: create a service account, share the target folder with its email, copy the JSON credentials into /data, save the folder ID, then run Test Connection.
